What would I have to do to get on Social Security Disability for Social Anxiety?
I don’t know what to do. My situation is really bad with this, I have no income, do not drive, and I cannot afford to go to the doctor. Is there is any way to go free? It has to change…

First, you have to have it classified as a genuine disability. Currently it is not. That does not mean you aren’t really troubled, just that it will be very very hard to get disability payments for it.
You will have to have a lawyer - and it can take over three years to get a decision made regarding your benefits. It did me, and I have a long-recognized disability.

Look for information on your local public aid. This should help you get the medical help you need. You would have a hard time getting Social Security Disability which seems to have a two to three year waiting list for applications even for those medical conditions which are recognozed as disabling. Currently Social Anxiety is not recognized by the SSA.
You definately need professional help. public aid can set you up to visit a physician or mental health professional to get you the treatment you need.
