I need ongoing care for a bipolar condition that prevents me from working full time. Now I am out a Dr. and therapist and I live in a small town. My primary M.D. won’t handle my phycotropic meds and if I don’t contiue seeing health care professionals i will loose my Social Security. Anyone else have a simular delima?

Okay–if you are on SS Disability, you are most likely eligible for medicaid. Medicaid HAS to transport you to a larger city to a mental health place–they cannot leave you without meds or a doctor and therapist.
You tell your primary MD that he’d better refer you to a psychiatrist–if he’s not going to give you your meds, and monitor you.
I am shocked that your psychiatrist moved without requesting a replacement to take his place. You need to get to a clinic–if all else fails, go (or call) the emergency room–they have to treat you–and refer you.
Even call Social Security and ask them what you should do, if all else fails. They are aware (at least most of them) that stopping your meds suddenly can be life-threatening.
