my mom was denied because she hasnt worked since she got married to my dad(27years). They said she didnt have enough work history.Any info is greatly appreciated!

    My uncle applied for that and they told him the same thing. You suppose to work 2 years or more to be qualified for social security/disability. Which sucks.

    As I understand it, as an American citizen, you need to have worked 40 full quarters in order to qualify for ss. With a disability, I’m not sure. As a non citizen, you need only have worked 20 quarters. Good luck to your mom.
