If you recieve over a 100o dollars per month then if u work you may lose your disablity or have to take less for what you make. So if you get 1500 a month then if oyu work you will lose 500 of that. They figure if you are too sick to work to get that money then ytou shouldn’t be getting both. I don’t knwo your situation and i am sorry you have cancer, but if you want tokeep your SSI then working willaffect it
