What the hell does Rep Boozman overshelming of illegals have to do with hours you can work if you are receiving Social Security Security Disability Benefits?

I am the representative payee for the social security disability for my adult son who lives with me. The SSA determined that he needed a representative payee because he was not able to manage his own money. I spend his SS on his food, shelter and living expenses and if any is leftover, I save it for him. Do I have to report his social security as income on my taxes?

Do I have to pay taxes if my only income is Social Security Disability (1,500 a month) and child support (500 a month)?

How do you report a person for Social Security Disability Fraud?
We have neighbor who reeps the benifits of Social Security Disability however he continues to perform physical labor ( digging up a water line in his front yard with a shovel and pick and mowing other peoples lawns for money and delivers newspaper with his wife.) How do you report SS Disability fraud?

My best friend has a herniated disk in her back and is unable to have surgery, because she has no insurance. She is having lots of pain, in her back, hip and legs and is having a hard time working and walking, She also has IBS with constant diarrhea. Do you know if she would be able to get her disability from social security with these problems?

I have a friend that is fighting to get Social Security Disability in Ohio. Her parents bought her an acre of land and she put it in her boyfriends name in fear it would hurt her chances for disability, and I am not convinced it would.

Her boyfriend isn’t the most trust worthy. I am afraid that he’ll tell her to get lost and keep it before she is approved for disability and can put it in her name.

I think if it was in her name now it would not hurt her but if she waited till after she gets the disability then they maybe able to say something.

Anyone know ? Anyone have any suggestions on how to help my friend before she is scammed on?

My Girlfriend has missed a lot of time from work and is not able to hold a job for long for nausea and vomiting. We have been to a gastro-intestinal specialist, family practice doctors and specialist to find out the source of why she is vomiting and they do not know a cause. She was diagnose with pancreatitis which is a inflammation of the pancreas that causes violent vomiting and nausea but then another doctors say that she does not have pancreatitis. We thought it was Gaul stones, acid reflux but they said that was not it. In other words she still suffering for vomiting and throwing up and the one drug that does work with stopping it makes her extremely drowsy and tire. She needs to apply for Social Security Disability and I know they give an option to file on line but how can we find a doctor that will take the time to help her with getting the right paper work to get approved She has one minor child that she may be able to get benefits for under her own claim. Any good suggestions?

I filed for social security disabiltiy at the end of Novemeber. I am already in the decision stage. I sent in all my copies of my medical records which were over 1000 pages. I had extra but the examiner said that I had sent in more than enough information and she did not need any more from me. 2 weeks later i went for mental exam. She called me and told me that I needed to see one of their doctors but did not have to do a full exam just a passive range of motion. I went to the doctor and he said that I had 0 range of motion in my neck. I am trying to think positive. I feel that if I was looking at denial of benefits that they would have made me do a full physical to help my case. I was in the doctors office for 20 minutes to do range of motion and left. I also sent in documents from my previous jobs showing where they were trying to do a fit for duty examination because my disability was affecting my job performance and also notes from doctors saying i cannot stand or sit for 30min.
My diagnosis are cervical stenosis with chronic muscle spasms, bone spurs, arthristis, hyperatrophy, tension headaches, migraines, bulging discs, anxiety, depression, stress and angioma(brain tumor-benign).
I am not paralyzed but the way I feel i should be.

My dad had a stroke 2 years ago and finally got approved for disability last year. Now that it’s tax time, should he anticipate a refund when he files? No tax was withheld from his Social Security benefits, so it seems obvious he won’t get a refund. But the IRS calculator (“should I file a return?”) still indicates that he should file a return.

What about things like mortgage interest paid on his home, and his out of pocket medical costs–are they simply deductions he could take if he had paid taxes?
