Can a social security disability recipient take the earned income credit?
I am collecting disability through social security and I worked a job in which I earned $2400; am I eligible for the earned income credit if I file federal taxes. I have no dependents.

Because you had earned income you could take the earned income credit if you meet the other requirements.
